SPONSORSHIPS FOR THE ACC NCR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
The ACC NCR Leadership Academy provides the tools and skills in-house attorneys need to optimize their leadership potential and succeed at the highest levels of their organizations. The Academy consists of eight faculty-led sessions taking place over a nine-month period:
- Module 1- Fundamentals of Being a Leader – Authentic, Inclusive, and Connected
- Module 2 - Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal Communication
- Module 3 - Developing and Leading High Performing Teams
- Module 4 - Creating and Inspiring Organizational Vision; Leading and Managing Change
- Module 5 - Managing Difficult Conversations and Influencing Stakeholders
- Module 6 - Problem Solving and Strategic Decision Making
- Module 7 - Executive Presentation Skills
- Module 8 - Capstone: My Journey Toward Leadership Mastery
Each class consists of approximately 30 distinguished in-house counsel, known as Fellows, chosen through a selective application process. The Fellows participate in a highly interactive learning environment, both in the classroom and working, both inside and outside of the classroom, with a smaller learning cohort.
Nationally recognized faculty teach the Academy sessions. We select faculty members because of their expertise and ability to translate critical leadership concepts into the practical takeaways that in-house counsel need.
A Board of Advisors, composed of prominent in-house legal leaders (current and former GCs/CLOs and top lawyers of significant business units or subsidiaries within large organizations), attend and participate in each Academy session to deliver practical takeaways and insights into how in-house counsel function as leaders. Members of the Board of Advisors also participate in various Academy events.
Leadership Academy Sponsorships provide avenues to support this valuable program and interact with the Fellows, faculty, and members of the Board of Advisors.
Leadership Academy Champion Sponsors (Add-On to an annual Sponsorship Level -
$6,700; A La Carte - $9,300)

Opportunities to Engage with the Leadership Academy Program
- Host either the first day of Module 1 (in January 2027) OR the closing Module (in September 2027) for the Class of 2027. Up to six representatives may participate in the Module day alongside the Fellows.

- Hosting involves providing space for the session and cocktail reception that follows.
- Sponsor must cover all expenses for refreshments throughout the day (breakfast and lunch food and beverages, continuous coffee, soft drinks), and during the reception.
- The Academy has developed a robust ROI program to provide sponsors with meaningful opportunities to interact with Fellows and alums. Among the ROI items provided are:
- A guide to the people involved in that day’s Module (Fellows, Faculty, Facilitator, Board of Advisors and Academy Steering Committee members) and an overview of the content that will be covered that day.
- Options for an engagement activity the sponsor can hold with Fellows and/or alums.
- An unlimited number of sponsor representatives may attend the cocktail reception at the end of the session.
Leadership Academy Host Sponsorship for Full-Day Modules (Add-on to an annual Sponsorship Level - $4,100; A La Carte - $5,300)

- Only seven host sponsorships for full-day modules are available in 2027. These opportunities are available as “add-ons” for 2027 ACC NCR Sponsors or a la carte sponsorships.

Opportunities to Engage with the Leadership Academy Program
- Host a full-day Academy module.
- Hosting involves providing space for the session, as well as breakfast and lunch (food and beverages), and refreshments throughout the day (coffee, soft drinks).
- Up to six representatives of the sponsor may participate in the Module day alongside the Fellows.
- At the end of the day, host sponsor is encouraged to host a happy hour for Fellows, faculty and Board of Advisors member(s) to network with representatives of the sponsor. Sponsor is responsible for all expenses for refreshments provided at the happy hour. There is no limit to the number of representatives who may attend the happy hour.

Leadership Academy Sponsorships for Academy On-Ramp Half-Day Modules
Each Academy class kicks off with two half-day “on-ramp” sessions. Each starts at 11:30 a.m. with lunch and ends at 5 p.m.
- Orientation as an add-on to an annual Sponsorship Level – $3,000; A La Carte – $3,800
- Intro Module as an add-on to an annual Sponsorship Level – $3,400; A La Carte – $4,700

· Opportunity to host the half-day Orientation for the new class, the half-day Intro Module, or both “on-ramp” sessions. These opportunities are available as “add-ons” for 2027 ACC NCR Sponsors or as a la carte sponsorships.

Opportunities to Engage with the Leadership Academy Program
· ORIENTATION: This is the Fellows’ first opportunity to meet and get to know one another and the Academy staff who will accompany them on their journey through the program
o Because of the nature of the Orientation, we do not invite sponsor representatives to participate in the content of the session. A representative of the sponsor may offer welcome remarks as the session begins.
o Hosting involves providing space for the session, as well as appropriate lunch, beverages, and refreshments throughout.
o At the end of the day, sponsor is encouraged to host a happy hour for Fellows and sponsor representatives to network. Sponsor is responsible for all expenses for refreshments provided at the happy hour.
· INTRO MODULE:
o The Intro Module explains the concept of having a personal leadership brand and guides them through activities to create their own brand statement.
o Hosting involves providing space for the session, as well as appropriate lunch, beverages, and refreshments throughout.
o Up to six representatives of the sponsor may participate in the Intro Module alongside the Fellows.
o At the end of the day, sponsor is encouraged to host a happy hour for Fellows and sponsor representatives to network. Sponsor is responsible for all expenses for refreshments provided at the happy hour.

Leadership Academy Alum Refresher Sponsor (Add-on to an annual Sponsorship Level - $3,400; A La Carte $4,700)
In order to provide opportunities for Academy Alums to continue their leadership development, the Academy holds an annual half-day “refresher” class to explore different aspects of the leadership skills. The event starts with a networking lunch at 11:30 a.m. and ends by 5 p.m., segueing into a happy hour for all attendees. The refresher is open to all Academy alums (there are now more than 250 among classes completing the Academy since 2018). Three Leadership Academy Alum Refresher Sponsorships are expected in 2027.
